SERVICES / PERGOLAS
FSI designs and builds complete outdoor living spaces for Puget Sound homeowners. One team. Pergola, kitchen, screens, and more — designed and built by one team that manages every trade in-house or through vetted partners.

the difference
A kit from a catalog is not a solution for the Pacific Northwest. FSI specifies and builds Azenco systems that are engineered for high wind loads, heavy rain, and the specific structural requirements of your property. We do not just assemble a box; we build the foundation for your entire outdoor room.

Every Azenco system uses the same 6060-T6 powder-coated aluminum and concealed hardware. The difference is how the roof behaves.

Freestanding modular pergola with manual louvers. No permit required in most Puget Sound jurisdictions.

The flagship system. Motorized louvers that seal against rain and open to sun on demand. Rain sensors close automatically.

Consistent shade and airflow with no moving parts. Patented screwless assembly and architectural fixed-slat design.

Solid insulated roof panels for maximum weather protection and temperature control. Solar panel compatible.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET
Every Azenco system FSI installs is specified for Pacific Northwest conditions. Here is what that means for how you use your space.
01 · BENEFIT
Not just July and August. The right structure overhead means October is not the end of your outdoor season.
02 · BENEFIT
Sealed louvers and integrated gutters route water through the posts to grade. No dripping. No pooling. No going inside.
03 · BENEFIT
Open for full sun. Closed for full protection. Every position in between, on demand from your phone.
04 · BENEFIT
Factory-finished aluminum. Concealed fasteners. No exposed bolts or cover plates. Clean lines from every angle.
05 · BENEFIT
Screens, kitchen, lighting, and heaters all mount to the same structure. Get the pergola right and the rest of the build follows.
From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, FSI manages every trade and every detail of your outdoor space.
01 / 03
Most contractors build one piece of the space. FSI can design and build the entire outdoor room — pergola, kitchen, screens, heaters, lighting, and AV — as one cohesive system, coordinating with vetted contractors if needed.
02 / 03
No contractor coordination. No missed handoffs. No blame-shifting when something does not fit. FSI manages every trade, employs the people doing the work, or subs out to vetted partners.
03 / 03
FSI has been operating in this market since 2005. This climate, these jurisdictions, these materials. Not a new dealer figuring it out. A team with over 340 completed projects.

QUESTIONS?
FSI's complete outdoor living package is a fully managed outdoor construction engagement that covers every element of an outdoor living space under one contract. The standard scope includes: full design consultation and property walkthrough, 3D design renderings of the complete finished space, structural base coordination including deck construction or concrete subcontractor coordination, Azenco pergola system supply and installation, MagnaTrack motorized screen installation, custom outdoor kitchen with aluminum-welded frame, cabinetry, countertop, appliances, and finish facing, outdoor technology integration including TV, patio speakers, landscape speakers, infrared heaters, LED lighting, and smart home integration, permit coordination across all applicable trades, and a final walkthrough and system activation. One team manages every element from design approval to the day FSI hands you the keys.
When one contractor manages the full outdoor scope, every design decision is made with full knowledge of every other element in the space. The kitchen is designed to wrap the pergola post — which is only possible if the same team knows both the kitchen dimensions and the post location before either is fabricated. The MagnaTrack screens are sized to the pergola opening dimensions — which only works if the same team specified both. The technology wiring is run inside the structural framing — which only happens if the technology is planned before the structure is completed. None of these integrations happen by accident. They happen because one team owns the design, the materials, and the installation of every element. The alternative — hiring separate vendors for the pergola, the kitchen, the screens, and the technology — produces a backyard where each element was done by someone who never spoke to the others. FSI eliminates that sequence entirely.
The K-BANA is Azenco's modular manual louvered pergola — an award-winning outdoor structure with a louvered roof adjusted by hand to 130 degrees of rotation and flexible wall and partition options including fixed louvered panels, sliding louvered panels, and plain wall panels. The K-BANA is distinguished by its modularity — it can be configured as an open shade structure, a semi-enclosed cabana with louvered side panels, or a fully enclosed room with plain wall panels depending on the configuration. There is no motor and no electrical requirement for the louver system itself. The K-BANA is the most accessible price point in the Azenco product line and is a strong choice for homeowners who want a premium outdoor structure with adjustable shade control, do not need motorized functionality, and prefer the design freedom of a modular system.
The Azenco R-BLADE is a motorized louvered pergola system with an automated roof that opens and closes on demand. The core product is a powder-coated aluminum structure with dual-walled motorized louvers that rotate from fully open to fully closed via a quiet electric motor. The louvers are controlled by remote, wall switch, smartphone app, or automated weather sensors that respond to rain, wind, and temperature. When closed, the louvers form a gapless, waterproof overhead surface that channels rain through fully integrated gutters inside each structural post. When open, the louvers allow full sunlight and airflow. The R-BLADE is available in wall-mount and freestanding configurations. It is the product FSI installs most frequently because it is the only system that gives Pacific Northwest homeowners real year-round outdoor flexibility — a system that adjusts to the weather in real time rather than a covered patio that is either open or closed.
The Azenco R-BREEZE is a fixed louvered pergola — an aluminum structure with stationary slats permanently set at either 55 or 90 degrees that create consistent shade and a defined overhead aesthetic with no moving parts. Unlike the R-BLADE's motorized louvers, the R-BREEZE slats do not open or close — they are set at the chosen angle during installation and remain there. The R-BREEZE's value is in its visual profile and simplicity. The fixed louvered slats create a sculptural overhead element that filters light at a consistent angle and establishes a defined architectural character for the outdoor space. There is no motor to maintain, no sensor system to calibrate, and no mechanical component that can fail. The tradeoff is that the weather protection is partial — the R-BREEZE sheds light rain at the slat angle but does not fully seal against precipitation the way the R-BLADE or R-SHADE do.
